Come! Get the “opportunity to Explore the Meaning of Life” through the Alpha course. Over 13 million people had found the “Meaning of Life” through attending an Alpha course across the world, as it is being conducted in 163 countries. It is set in a very relaxing, fun and friendly fashion, spread over ten weekly sessions. Catechesis for Everyone, Come and Listen. God is calling YOU!! Every Tuesday and Thursday, from 7.45pm to 8.45pm at Room G1, SHPC starting Thursday, 10^th September 2009.

Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament: The Holy Hour at the SHC Blessed Sacrament Chapel will be from 7.30pm to 8.30pm every Tuesday of the week. Please note the changes.

2.  Session 2 (Monica Kong)

Testimonies of few participants from the 1 st Conference who have decided to take seriously the issues and did something about it in their families or in their work places. These are practical examples of how we can improve our families. Many participants are now aware that the challenges facing us are real especially among our school going children. Many do not know the extent of the influence until they were told of it at the first conference. Unless we act as a big group of concerned people, we will be overcomed by the problems.

3.  Session 3 (Pauline Soon)

We have chosen a Catholic family with three generations. This will be a talk show ( like Oprah Show) Here we will see how the values taught from one generation is passed down to the next - good and bad

How the young people in the family deal with each and how the parents stood by their Catholic principles.

I promise you that this will be a really good and exciting session.

4. Session 4 (Pauline Soon)

Here we will be talking on Paradigm Shift - moving from one belief or value to another for good or bad.

We will be talking about why it is so difficult to put what we believe in practice. The reason behind our actions and habits. the reasons behind our success and failures.

5. Session 5 (Anthony Lim)

He will be given us the spiritual input on how God is the srength we should rely on to deal with this evil influence around us. He will help us to see that God will help us if we want to bring our family to be more like God's masterpiece.

6.  Session 6 and Mass

After the whole day, there will be a time for personal sharing with leaders on what to do, or a time of reflection and decision making. A time of confession is also available.
After that we are ready to come to God in the eucharistic celebration and ask Him to bless our families. protect our families and at the same time consecrate our families to God.
