Tadika St. Francis (medium of teaching is English) a Catholic Mission establishment under the SHC Parish, is now open for registration for the academic year 2011, for children age 4-6 in year 2011. Catholic catechism forms part of the academic curriculum of the school, thus giving children an opportunity to learn their Catholic faith at a very young age. The Archdiocese of Kota Kinabalu has set up FREE guidance and pastoral counselling services at the Sacred Heart Parish Centre at Room G4, next to the Parish Office. Call 088-220741 for an appointment.

The Senior Parishioners gathering will be held this Sunday, 16^th May 2010 after the 9.00am English Mass at the Right Wing of the Parish Centre. This is for senior parishioners aged 55 and above.

This camp for teens 13-18 years old is in collaboration with Pusat Kebajikan Good Shepherd (Sabah), with the theme “Made for Mission”, will be held on the 12^th to 15^th June 2010 (Sat-Tues), during the school holidays. Registration starts on 15^th May 2010, before and after every English Mass at SHC, CMI &St. Simon (Sunset). In aid of this camp, there will be fund raising activities organized, including Movie Night on 15^th May 2010 at 8.00pm and Mini Bazaar on 22^nd May 2010 at 7.00pm. Couples who wish to get married either at the Sacred Heart Cathedral or Church of Mary Immaculate, Bukit Padang are required to meet with the Parish Priest at the Sacred Heart Cathedral Parish Office at least 4 months prior to the proposed date of marriage. Couple please take note the date of marriage will only be decided at the Pre-nuptial Interview with the Parish Priest and NOT before.

Our Rector wishes to invite adults and youth in the Parish to attend the coming series of twice-weekly (every Tuesday & Thursday) 8.00pm talks that are scheduled to start on Tuesday, 20^th April 2010. These talks would lead listeners to find answers to the true meaning and purpose in life as a Christian and on how Jesus has the power to save us.

These talks will be conducted in Room G1 at the Parish Centre. Bring along your friends, relatives & colleagues to the talks. All are welcome.

Registration is open for Year 2011 (children born from 2^nd January 2004 to 1^st January 2005) and Year  2012 (children born from 2^nd Janiary 2005 to 1^st January 2006), from 1^st April 2010 to 27^th May 2010.
